Painted in unison by both members of the Schneed Collective, the piece begins with a burst of colour and celebration at the emergence of spring and summer, before descending into the moody colours of autumn, and finally the gentle, alluring darkness of the winter season.

To illustrate the feeling of these later seasons, artists Benjamin Steer & Matthew Turk added the (s)lanted India ink (line), pulling the viewer's focus towards the deep colours of winter, a time where many feel trapped or alone. As the flowing colours dance up the canvas, the piece tries to pull the viewer away from the darker, more isolating feelings, engaging with the joyous colours of spring and summer.
